As I mentioned before, I did put together a bonus video for this week. This is my first album review, of Weezer’s new CD Raditude. I I do more of these, they will likely be older albums, since I have to rely on my CD collection, which receives updates very rarely these days. Hope you enjoy
CSI: Pop Charts

Alright, boys and girls, special “treat” for you all. This is a little spoof created by all three members of Dicks, Bastards, & Assholes Inc in which Derek is recruited to stop a silent killer. As you can probably tell, this was a pretty impromptu production: Will happened to be in town for the afternoon, had an idea to do a cop show parody, we managed to get ahold of Zach, and made it up as we went. That in mind, it’s not half bad. Lots of editing in this one, cut out a few things to tighten it up and skip over some not so sterling improvs, and added some green tint, jump cuts, and techno to get that CSI feel. Just for the record, the Usual Suspects gag was my idea.
I’ll try to put up a bonus video this week since this one feels a bit like an inside joke.

MVT3K: Big Country

Derek’s bowling pin buddies try to reignite his memory through the use of a less than classic 80s video. Hilarity fails to ensue.
Rendering problem here, there is a huge gap before the music video starts, skip ahead to 3:00 exactly. Audible Underwear: Now with interactive content! I will set about fixing that problem soon, but when I promise new videos on Tuesday I MEAN new videos on Tuesday, even if they come with horrific technical glitches! Thursday’s video will be glitch free, promise. And of course, commentary.
Promotional BS- if you would like to comment on any video or the twee new site design, that would be lovely. So would clicking on ads and those vote buttons, and the custom made RSS chicklet.
New Look Soon

Just a head’s up that there will be the first redesign coming up within the next week. See, I have absolutely no idea how to do any programming so I am at the mercy of templates. Don’t get me wrong, this is a classy look, and I enjoy the huge orange RSS button, but it’s very basic, isn’t it? But I want something a little less stuffy, so I’ve been diving headfirst into the sea of potential templates, and we’ll see what I come up with. Maybe someday we’ll even have an original layout if traffic dictates something professional.

Addendum: So soon turned out to be the very next day. I had whittled myself down to nine possible designs then found out that most of them just weren’t compatible with my margins. And of the themes that were left standing, this one stood out as being the lightest and the arrows remind me of play buttons. So a quick logo design (and three hours of struggling with code) later, we have a more suitably twee Audible Underwear.

Misappropriated Music: Homecoming

I’ve wanted to do this mash-up ever since I first heard this song by The Teenagers. They suck, they suck very badly. They are pretentious minimalist art-trash with barely any melody sung with horrific accents and their subject matter is reprehensible. But when placed underneath some classic movie musical footage, it becomes HI-LARIOUS to me.
Also, you may notice that gray bar at the bottom of each entry. If you happen to be a member of Digg or one of the other networks shown, you can click on the icon and recommend it. Also, there may be some extra ads on the page, I don’t know, it seems to be out of my hands so apologies if they get annoying.
