MVT3K: Goonies R Good Enough
This week Doc Pepper from No Holds Barred (another wonderful show on the XtremeNetworkOnline website) comes by to offer his opinions on a wrestler-cameo filled ode to the Goonies. More audio syncing problems, but not as noticeably as last week. No MVT next week, but I’ll try to come up with a good replacement!
AU Reviews: The Core
Derek has to try his hand at his first movie review when he’s forced to take part in the dreadful experiments of a crazed madwoman! Not sure how happy I am with this one, it’s a little bit too long (which in turn leads to large audio syncing issues towards the end) but I think all the cutaway gags are pretty good.
Information on the Russian Roulette Review series can be found here.
MVT3K: Kamelot ‘Human Stain’
This one has the best lighting of any video I’ve ever done, and only suffers from some slight lag (thanks to my decision to put 10 overlay effects on top of each other). This month Derek takes on Kamelot (a band I enjoy without a drop of irony) and tries to put all the lessons he’s learned during Rock Month to good use when (spoiler alert) a DRAGON ATTACKS!
MVT3K: Muse ‘Uprising’
Hey folks, rock month continues, and the band MUSE is going to show us how to use rock and roll to fight monsters! Also, this is the first video produced since we became partners with Xtreme Network Online, and as such, you can discuss it on our new forum thread (where I will be trying to bring back the old habit of commentary)

Enjoy!
MVT3K: I Believe in a Thing Called Love
Our first episode with Chroma Keyed backdrops! Let me know if the motion is too distracting and I’ll switch back to still pictures. Also, there seems to be some audio sync problems near the end, apologies. Rock Month Begins!
MVT3K: Telephone
So a week late, we reach the end of Lady Gaga Month with this, perhaps the worst video I have reviewed yet in this young show. Take the sleaze of the last three weeks and multiply it. Then go take a shower. But at least all will be revealed in the bittersweet ending.
8 Bit Operas 1
I’m waiting on a piece of footage to come my way before I finish up the final installment of Lady Gaga Month (though with or without it, I will have the last video up some time this week, promise). In the meantime, here’s a rough draft of a new series I hope to polish up and put over on MediaSlayerProductions.com
Because my regular editing software crashed whenever I tried to edit the captured footage, I’ve had to rely on the dreaded Windows Movie Maker, so it lacks a little bit of the finesse I would like it to have. But if I wanted to make sure I had something on the site, I had to sacrifice. Let me know what you think of the concept at the very least!
Music Video Theatre 3000: LoveGame
Lady Gaga Month Continues! This may be the most bits ever crammed into one episode, and we’re getting slightly closer to figuring out these lighting issues, so I’m pretty proud of this one overall. Too bad I still don’t remember why we’re doing three Lady Gaga videos in a row…
MVT3K: Poker Face
Derek has returned from his trek through time, slightly worse for wear. What frightening news does he find written on a notebook? Note the change in format (which was working great until Blip darkened the video, have to play with contrast when editing for next week) and the debut of our new title sequence!
MVT3K: Creed ‘My Sacrifice’
As Derek’s trek through the decades comes to a close, he encounters a truly stupefying video from those stalwarts of the grunge revival, and somehow manages to not make any Jesus-based jokes.
We may not have a video next week, just a head’s up
